VideoWhisper Admin interface provides admin features for all VideoWhisper applications. It allows site webmasters to connect to the rtmp application and provide administrative functionality.

Features

The Video Whisper Admin also provides verbose reports when connecting to the rtmp server and it should be the first flash application installed on a website (for troubleshooting purposes).

This application was designed to provide an administrative interface for the rtmp application used by the video whisper communication projects - it does not contain database level management tools. This is for user session management. Database level management tools (that relate to user management) should be integrated on website content management scripts (i.e. joomla, wordpress).

Installation Instructions

Before installing, make sure your hosting environment meets all requirements.

1. If you're not hosting RTMP with us go to RTMP Application Setup for installation details.
2. Copy contents of admin_php to your web installation location. Use a folder you can protect from visitors.
3. Fill your RTMP path into settings.php .

After installation we recommend protecting the folder with password (i.e. from cpanel web protect) to avoid not authorised access.

Updates: This flash application requires latest rtmp application version to support the new admin functionality. If you have managed rtmp hosting, contact for update. If you manage your own rtmp server, download and update the rtmp application then restart the rtmp server.
